Sunday 18th saw the staging of the 2023 Vice Presidents Trophy 

Despite a number of last minute withdrawals due to
injury and illness 20 players took to the court 

However an early injury to Anne Moore meant that junior Rhys Eaton was called upon to make up
the numbers and he did very well gerting through the group stages of the foursomes style event 

In the first semi final Matt Parker and Alex Pletscher defeated Lydia Bass and Claire Wilkins 

In the second semi final Nick Wilkins and Kathy Taylor defeated Rhys and Venus Moses 

The final saw Matt and Alex achieve victory and secure the prize vouchers for Phanthong Thai - Sandbach donated by an anonymous donor  

Thanks to all of the players  and DJ Mandy for the music during the afternoon

Thankfully all of the action was completed before the rain started
