Congleton Lawn Tennis Clubs 2023 tournament schedule came to an end with the annual New Years Eve tournament sponsored by Jason Simmons Estate Agent 

Sixteen players took part in foursomes groups and were split into groups called Aces Jacks Queens and Kings which were drawn from a pack of playing cards  

The top two in each group made the semis finals 

Kim Bennett and her playing partner Nick Wilkins won the first beating her daughter Lauren and Helen Dyson 

Lydia Bass and Patrick Eaton beat Venus Moses and Chris Gowans in the second semi

In the final Kim and Nick emerged victorious to take home the prize vouchers 

Organiser Andrew Giltrap thanked all of those who have supported the tournaments in 2023 either by taking part or helping behind the scenes 

A big thank you also went to all of the club partners who have supported the tournaments in 2023 

Hopefully they will continue to support the club in 2024
